I Am My Work -- the Thorn that Weeps, & Holds the Sky Entire...by Bear_MusicComment: I did not vote in this challenge but if I had I would have understood the connection you were making. It reminds me of the work of a photographer who made self-portraits out of things that had meaning to him or some connection to him, without ever putting himself into the picture. Unfortunately, his name escapes me at the moment, and I feel silly for commenting without knowing his name, but I felt that I just had to say that I felt this was a very highly underrated photograph. |

Happy 2005! Peace, Love, Health and Ribbon! by LuxvichComment: This was my top pick in the challenge. Just wanted to say congrats on the very well done image. I don't often spend a lot of time looking at images during voting after I've voted, but I kept coming back to this one over and over thinking, "How did they DO that?". Very nicely done, again, and obviously a lot of effort and time was put into this image and it shows! This is definitely going into my favorites. |

Their Favorite Game , 1987-2003 (Penny.....R.I.P.)by jemisonComment: This is in response to your forum post - I rated this an 8, as I thought your photo was quite good and I picked up on the connection to pets and their people pretty easily. Like other people have said, the lack of a pet probably was what brought you down.
I was actually surprised to see this photo rate so low in the challenge. But I guess you can't please everyone.
