ETERNAL LOVEby ellulsComment: An interesting composition. I just think that the palm tree, and the tree behind it, are too dark. Also, the figures don't seem to possess much much definition, there's not much contrast between the figures and the tres. It's almost like two seperate objects, and my eyes seem to switch between the two, unsure of which to look at. Still, the composition is a good idea, definitely photo worthy. |

Just being obstinate!by JeanComment: I would've just used the word stubborn, because as I've discovered, voters aren't the most knowledgable people ;). This is a good pose, and I think the background works well, but I think the subject should be looking up at the camera. If he were to look up at the camera, and make a stubborn face, It would assuredly exude recalcitrance :D. |

Dangerous curve aheadby lucascarrComment: Very good artistic use of lighting, excellent take on the challenge. I expect this one to score highly (as well as have 50 1's, 2's or 3's). The only thing I think to make this picture better would be to have her turn her hand so her fingers aren't illuminated. But still, a superb photo. |

Charlieby WarbyComment: Aah, it's Nam all over! This is a good candid, but the only things I'm wary about are the border, and the swing. The wsing overpowers the bottom of the image and (I believe) casts that hard shadow on his face. Still, an above average picture. |

Can´t wait...by LalliSigComment: Shots like this have ribboned, and this is as good as those. The only difference I see is that those seemed to have a more creative use of light, but outside of that, virtually identical to a ribbon winner. Good job. |

Innocenceby stephpaxComment: Excellent portrait/candid. Everything is magnificant about this except the sky seems a little washed out, so much so that it overpowers the trees and their shape and form. I also would've taken the picture without the toy, but outside of that a good picture. |

Rampway to heavenby BullpupComment: Maybe if the rampway was inclined? I love the detail that black and white creates for this shot, within the trees. The only donfall I notice is that the white is washed out on the outside of the left of the rampway, and the black hides some of the detail that could be there. Still, a very nice capture. |

Sun and Cloudsby WinterbergComment: The only thing I see a problem with is that in your blacks (the clouds) there isn't any detail. Also, there's almost too much negative space for my taste, as well as what appears to be specs of dust. It's a good image, I love the way the rays protrude from the cloud. |

flowersby ormeComment: It seems a little dark in the picture. The black and white would work well though, I love the shadows cast by the inner petals. Also, there's some distracting backround elements, but overall a good picture. |

'the flightless one.....the kiwi'by suemackComment: Kia ora!
This is an excellent shot, I love it. I got marvelous opportunity to see one of these little guys at night in the wild when I visited the South Island. This is an excellent shot, well composed. None of the factors that would improve it were under your control (the bit of green stuff by his feet), however the shot seems to have sort of a bluish tint on his head and back, maybe I'm just crazy. Either way, excellent capture, probably the best picture in the challenge. |
