Old Goldby magnusComment: sure made me look at it for awhile trying to figure it out. Not sure if the colored wood is actually part of the object or not, interesting texture to it also. Good lighting, anything more would have certainly ruined the classy feel of it. |

Age may helpby BMacDComment: Not sure how age would help with a ballpoint pen...am I right? Is that what it is? Well that's what it seems like. Not sure if I like the red line in the border but I see what you were going for. I like the strong blue contrasting color. |

diaphanousby Keith ManiacComment: certainly one of the top images of the similar subjects I have seen. You've done well with the tones, lighting and depth of field. Good job. |

Sailing the Sepia Seasby JovanComment: in blue and white it could almost be an aerial view of ocean waves. I like how you have some pages close together but not all. It really gives your eyes more too look at and doesn't instantly bore me. Nice subtle colors but keep the image sharp. |

Radiantby Postgate1Comment: When I first think of macro I think of extreme close up but you have made me change my mind. This shows some nice detail without showing the entire image. Still not as puzzling as I expect in this challenge but an over all nicely captured image. The lighting is excellent and sharpeness is sharp! Nice job. |

Pretty .... easy!by g14nComment: Maybe easy to guess but I'm guess not really easy to capture...at least not to your quality. The colors are right where I'd expect them, nice white whites. Cool how you caught some of the center parts in different phases of growth...would have been a great transistion submission but better here. Well done. |

Angry Dragonby kiskatComment: cool! I'm guessing it's one of those flat circular things that lets off colored lightning bolts and you can touch causing the bolts to go where you touch. Never looked at one so close, adds a totally different perspective. The black specks are a little annoying but I know totally unavoidable since it is part of the actual item. Nice variety of colors. |

In the brassby TrollManComment: I've looked at your image a couple times and was first thinking of a table saw (or similar) fence but I don't think I've ever seen one this fancy so I'm most likly way off. I love the gold tones to the image even though some of it seems to be made of wood. Nice sharp edges and details and the depth of field draws you attention in but also allows it to wander about without getting lost or bored. Nice job. |

Abstract in Pinkby imagesbytlpComment: I have to admit that I think without your border this image would lose a lot of it's punch. I like the purples (pink, magenta, whatever it is) and blacks that make up the flower so the border only adds to it. The bit of white adds a nice contrast while not over powering the image. Very neat pattern...oh, just came to me, I would love to see a single yellow bee sitting up on it, don't suppose you could go catch one and put him on there could ya? lol Very nice image. |
