Enchanted Forest Rest Stopby whatdewucComment: Zero comments...that’s not right...I didn't vote on this challenge but thought you might like some feedback anyway. Mid-day light was probably the downfall for this pic and soft or lack of focus hardly ever goes over well on this site. The location isn't that bad and with a little creative composition I think it could have done a lot better. Your title made me laugh...my interpretation was "talking/cursed outhouse" but that’s just the way I am. Hope this helps. |

Mountain Pathby TooCoolComment: I seen this pic only had one comment so I thought I would add to it.
It has a really unique feeling to it. For lack of better words almost stalkerish. It’s a fairly sharp image and fit the challenge well. I wonder how it would look if it was pulled back a little with more focus on the path coming over the hill. With a different title like "waiting" or "the unsuspecting" probable not what you were thinking...maybe I said too much....I'll just go now...Nice photo anyway.

Midas (blue period)by Ecce_SignumComment: I hope you didn't lose your shirt on this one...LOL your comment says " I'm putting my money on this being my highest scoring sho at dpc :"
Well you kicked my butt...I tried to stay away from the obvious VP too but it got trashed. The blue is a little over processed as you already know from the other comments. I think you composition is a little too centered the triangular shapes to the right are distracting. Positioning your shot a third to the right would eliminated these shapes bringing the blue lines from the left into focal points (rule of thirds)and also allowing for more detail from the clouds in the sky. But a great subject none the less.

"he went that way"by Ecce_SignumComment: Good sharp image and great job with the title. Cropping/Composition is good but with the nice constant green background I think I would have changed my posting to help eliminate the out of focus flower on the right. |

Complex Simplicityby Ecce_SignumComment: I really like the lighting in this image it is soft and effective with good highlight and shadows. I agree with Eric’s' comment on the editing of the background and the black edges of the outer petals... an additional note the lower left petal has some blemishes on it. removing it before the picture would have been most effective or some spot editing...its all in the details...this is still my largest obstacle to overcome...I tend to see the flaws in others work easier then my own but I'm working on it. |
