While I must agree that a little more sharpness and therefore details in the feathers would be a good thing this is still a great photo, comparable to some of the ones in say Peterson's Field guides.

Very interesting picture here, both in composition and in style, the burning question I have is, are the colors natural or PS'd ?? If they are natural then damn, I'm gonna have to get me an airline ticket to there soon!! Also the alignment of the cacti and other landscape elements is AWESOME, i'm just not sure about those colors....

Great shot here, I like the lighting and the use of the long shutter to give the soft feel to the water, also great perspective, it looks as if you were almost in the water for the shot. Just one thing is slightly buggin me though, it appears the pic is slanted a bit downhill to the left, it would be an easy crop/rotate in PS to fix too, otherwise an excellent photo!

WOW!!!! Excellent, what else can I say for a subject that lets face it, unless your a chef, its not that exciting, you have made it exciting, vibrant and bold, congrats on a job very well done!!!! Perhaps you should look at marketing this shot in the stock photography market....

Wow, looks cold, very cold I like this photo a lot, the only thing that detracts from it just a tiny bit is whatever the heck is immediately behind the tire swing, some sort of rock formation perhaps??? it detracts from the swing standing out which if the "rocks" were removed i think would greatly add to the feeling of cold solitude. Probably an easy clone out in PS too, either way tis still a great evocative photo!

WOW, Excellent color, DOF, and saturation in this photo, I especially love the simple black background, as it seems to bring out the colors of the flowers all that much more!

WOW! Excellent color saturation, as a fellow resident of a frozen area, I love this photo, reminds me that spring is indeed on its way, somewhere, under all this damn snow!!!!! A little deeper DOF might have helped it a little, but still a great pic that somehow seems to benefit from the soft focus!

Very Nice capture! I would love to see the EXIF data on this shot, the only slightly distracting thing is the logo in the bottom right front of the photo, just wondering why when DPC uploads are usually 640x480 and therefore almost useless commercially, its there?
