Falling For Beautyby Mel34Comment: This shot has too much dynamic range for your camera. You have areas on both the right and the left that all the detail has been washed away by the bright sunlight. The shaded areas don't get enough light for the beauty of the fallen leaves to grab my attention. This type of shot is better on a cloudy day where the sunlight is filtered and there are no deep shadows to fight. |

Bush on an Islandby holdingtimeComment: The unfocused brush in the foreground caused me to score this one low. Also it seems more of a photojournalism photo (I am assuming this is George Bush's Maine residence) than a scenic landscape or cityscape. |

cross that bridge.by parrotheadComment: This is more of a people photo - and I really like it - nice and sharp, great leading lines that lead to your subject crossing the bridge. I would have voted this much higher in a differennt challenge. |

Flowerby mineru_forgarduComment: Your subject is a pretty flower - I don't see how this meets the challenge - this is more a narrow view of a natural object rather than a view of a countryside or city. Also from a composition standpoint, your flower is very centered in the frame - finding a way to use the rule of thirds would improve this shot. |

Hanging Curtainsby bucketComment: This has the feel in a way of an old master painting with the hands and the drapes on the side and looking out the thick glass. However, when I think landscape, I think scenic beauty showcased rather than diluted through tthe window with the action implied of hanging the curtain. |

The Wildernessby RupertComment: The detail in your clouds is gone because you have over exposed this shot. Plus your vantage point minimizes the details in the foreground. |
