Lambs Ear Leafby LesleyNelsonComment: good focus on wood, attracts the eye, a little soft on leaf, makes the leaf a secondary element.
Make your primary subject the focus point and let the background go.
leaf needs turning more upright to bring the top into the third rule.
would have left the leaf on a twig, it looks kinda lonely.
try using a mirror to direct the light/ shade if outside. good luck |

Stonesby jonrComment: fantastic colours/ detail, but somehow composition is lacking, is it that two stones dont work, the books say three or five is better than 2 or 4.
tried cropping to one but not nuff room,.
crop off all top and leave 1/2 of lower rock, shifts the focus to the bird tracks in the mud, but needs more mud at the top i think
Better! clone out the top rock for a top 10, shame . 8 |
