Something Old...Something New...by RKTComment: the fabric seems a too sharp, this take attention away from the subject rather than complimenting it - interesting image though, lots of potential |

Writing a Love Poemby admart01Comment: very nice composition - well done :)
I feel that there is a little room for impovement on the lighting but not sure exactly what, I'd suggest posting this in a thread after the challenge |

CGby whiteroomComment: I really like the image but cannot decide if the blown out highlights are a benefit or not, maybe it would work better if there were no blow outs on the actual ring - there again I cannot imagine how this would look (or work).
Whatever, I like it - well done :) |

Bowler's Rockby Prime_TimeComment: nice, but the ring on the left either needs to be in focus, or more out of focus so that attention is directed to the main ring on the right. |

"Wild Thing"by HeavyComment: nice image - the gold and the purple go well together. I'd like to see a little sharper detail on the petals |

Kid Stuffby pcodyComment: I'm sure that my 10 year old daughter would be tempted by this :)
For me I think that the image would better with the bottom 25% cropped - but I'm not a kid :) |

Ladybug Picnic - an appetite for Aphidsby luv2photoComment: This is a really nice image, although the unfocused leaf does take centre stage as with the 'rule of thirds' the leaf is set is a very prominent position.
The more time that is spend looking at the images the more attractive it becomes, unfortunatly in the world that is DPC the time that is required to appreciate this image will almost certainly not be given.
Cropping 25% off the top of the image would help to direct eyes to the detail in the lower part of the image and take attention away from the leaf. Message edited by author 2005-04-28 12:15:55. |
