Abstract and cliche!by SonifoComment: I am just not into the over processed color look. I am not sure if you are doing that to compensate for the lack of focus on the line to the flower or not. The idea of the shot is good. -Clicker- |

Texas Connectionby crabappl3Comment: It is difficult to tell what the subject is here. I assume the barrels? The lines do not really draw my eye to them. Although the challenge is `lines`, they are used to draw the eye to the subject and not be the total emphasis of the shot. Interesting lighting use here. I like that! -Clicker- |

Dead of Winterby RLSComment: I do like this shot for the lines challenge. There are lots of lines with the road, trees, and fences. Almost too many lines in a way that keeps them from drawing the eye to the subject. The road starts to draw the eye to the house, but the trees stops them. The fence is too far away to pick up the eyes again to draw them to the house. Overall an excellent shot with crisp focus and colors that work well together. Well done! -Clicker- |

Fire and Wineby dbensonComment: Well done! The shot is hot, sexy, and a complement to the challenge to convey love. The rich warm lighting tones combined with great composition and sharp focus gives the viewer a warm and fuzzy feel! Great shot and congratulations! 10 (Clicker) |

River Lagan: Frozenby gerardComment: I like this shot with the beautiful lighting and shadows. It is well cropped and the path takes the eye from front to rear. The focus takes away a bit from what you were trying to capture. Do you need a tri pod? What was your DOF? |

It's too noiseyby PaulkComment: Difficult to focus on anything here. Perhaps a `fill flash` would have helped to bring something out in the forground to bring the eye forward. The sky is a bit overexposed. I like the idea you had here of the subject being alone. |

Mohonkby davisspragueComment: This is a nice shot, but the lack of focus makes it difficult to...well...focus. I like your use of black and white here. It is a good `subject` for the challenge. Maybe the DOF is not correct for the distance, or you need a tri-pod? Good luck in the challenge! |

Evening Tideby a1leyez0nm3Comment: Beautiful colors! I wish it had something to focus on as the main subject though. The light in front does not really bring out the colors of the rocks and water. Perhaps just a hint of flash would have helped bring something out in front. |
