Buisness in the front, party in the backby DefyTimeComment: I like the two possible meanings of the word: Could be referring to Mr. Mullett there, wearing the flag, or it could be innocently referring to the trash receptacle. FWIW, I would prefer it without the arrow on the sign. IMO, that sort of takes away from the ambiguity, which has the potential to add to the strength of the photo. |

Welch'sby bobgaitherComment: Interesting colors reflected in the glass. I like the product placement, but I don't understand the composition in terms of the 4th of July packaging, the somewhat formal style of glass, and the floral backdrop. I guess the 4th theme on the bottle is what throws it off for me. |

A heron started telling me how hard it is to catch fish todayby jitamsComment: Excellent shot. That bird really has personal qualities and you captured them perfectly. I've watched these birds some and this is an extraordinary pose. Great focus on the bird and the depth of field washes out the distractions nicely. Looking hard for something to change, the only thing I can think of would be to keep the feet, but even then I don't know that it could be any better. I love it! |

"Super Green dragonFly "by ladpupmoeComment: Cool bug. I would have liked it better if its left side wings weren't cropped. The other wings disappear naturally over the pipe, but the complete nearside wings would have enhanced the shot, IMO. |

Sun E Trikeby FrostyPawsComment: Composition is cluttered with partials of another bike and a car. The solar-pedal powered bike is pretty extraordinary, but the photo doesn't really stand out. Perhaps a better setting would have done it. Maybe something like an old woman in a dress riding it at the front of a paceline full of Lance Armstrong wannabees. |
