Untitledby ladibugComment: You might have titled this "boot sucking mud". I like the brown and the blue colors and the way the big puddle almost melts in to the like-colored sky near the horizon. The model is hard to make out, but she appears to be standing on one leg, possibly because she has lost her boot to the mud on the other side of the pond. :) |

Join me in the land of mysteryby NeatComment: This may not score well with voters who just give it a quick look. I like the effect, but I have only come to that appreciation after several viewings. The more defined tree in the foreground is enhanced by the brighter stand in the middle of the frame. It does look mysterious. :) |

Seawolf Parkby cowtownmomComment: I like this composition. The colors are bit muted for my taste. Would like to see bluer sky and water. I'd be tempted to consider cropping the white building on the left and the point on the right, but I like the width the way you have it. |

suburban riverby jbirkmanComment: I like the blue water, which provides a nice contrast to the dingy white cement and brown scrub brush. Too bad there wasn't more water running through to provide a cleaner look to the "river" because that blue is wonderful. |

I´ts my favorit time to take pictures....by Aron5109Comment: Feels like a good use of negative space, but I can almost make something out in the background, which makes me wonder if you could see that on your monitor. Excellent model and great lighting on the face. I really like this one. |

Certified Assistance Dog "Karma"by Bear_MusicComment: There is an odd effect in this picture. The grass in the foreground makes the dog look like he has lost his hind quarters. Maybe that is just me, though. Now I'm not sure. Anyway, good looking dog. |

Victim of Prejudiceby ImagineerComment: Good picture of the rodent (hamster?). While I appreciate the difficulties you must face in getting one of these guys to pose, I would really prefer this picture without the person in the background. The hand is a detractor as well, IMO. Good shot of the hamster, though. My points are really more about composition than the primary subject, which you captured well. |

Little Rainbowby max90034Comment: Excellent colors. The shot of the bird is great. The backdrop I'm not so sure about. It looks to me almost like you used the blue on the left to cover something up. I like those colors, but that blue looks a bit uneven to me. |

My Babyby LesleyNelsonComment: I love Chihuahuas. This is a great shot of yours. Good choice of backdrop and good pose. I like the out-of-focus feet at the bottom of the frame, as well. Great job. |

just hangin' outby hopperComment: The best of the snake photos IMO. Your use of the climbing rope adds some color, which was a very good idea. The snake's head haning out over the black background is a nice "pose." The point of focus seems to be more toward the center of the frame, however, and to my eye the head and tongue seem to be somewhat more soft than I would prefer. Still a great picture. Thanks for posting it! |
