Great composition with the silhouette of the water fowl in sharp contrast to the very interesting waves. Sharp, detailed, clean processing. Overall this is fabulous! 9

Fantastic entry for this challenge. Love the subtle shades and the fog. Sharp focus, clean processing. There's some visible noise but I think it's preferable to a plastic, neat image look. 8

I'd like to know how you set up this composition. Really top notch with the subtle shades in the background. I think this succeeds in where so many others have failed in that the negative space is actually complementary to the subject. The rose is a bit large relative to the size of the photograph, but there is an elegant simplicity here that lends itself for this challenge. 10

A great study in contrast. Elegant simplicity. Clean processing, sharp and focused. The shadow is a bit strong and that's the only recommendation I would suggest...a bit more diffuse lighting. Well done. 7

Fantastic timing! Love the perspective and the great bokeh. The fly is very sharp and detailed, and the processing is very clean without distracting artifacts. Have you considered turning this into a duotone? Overall a great image for this challenge. 8

Excellent backdrop. Nice rich colors. The border is quite prominent and not to my taste, yet beyond that fact, is quite servicable. The image is sharp, detailed, and processed very cleanly without distracting artifacts.

I think the flower is just a bit too large relative to the size of the photo for this challenge and I would prefer if you had decreased its overall size by a third to a half. Still, I think it works well for this challenge and is overall a strong composition. 7

Great saturated colors. Nice detail with excellent sharpness. Clean processing which left very little if any artifacts (just a slight halo around the trees which is very subtle and difficult to spot). The ball contrasts nicely and serves as a good highlight to this composition. 8
