This is amazing photography. Everything is just right!! I like every aspect...ie Lighting, Angle, point of view, color...not time to list them all. This, to me, is a definate wall hanger!!! So peacefull, looks like a wonderful place to get away and just relax. The purple flowers just add so much. EXCELLENT!!! 10+++

Wonderful shot! The composition is great and the point of view really enhance this photo. One thing - it appears the focused grass area was a bit too sharpened/contrasted creating a somewhat distracting line - I think I would prefer it all slightly blurred. 8

This is very interesting. I like the DOF, works well here as does the golden colors. Although it may be intentional, I think it is a little too much contrastry/sharp. Perhaps it was done to emphasize the 'texture', but I don't think it needed it. Still great photo!! 8

GREAT photo. The b/w really appeals with this image. It says something - reaches out. Her expression is perfect for this. As I look at this, I try to be objective and look at it as if I weren't American (or at least try) and it is still emotional. There is a lot of sadness here. Personally, I'm a little tired of the trivial patriotism - but to me this is not that at all. Just curious - was this staged? If so - great imagination/creativity - If not, great eye for catching this.
