Patriotismby jerrftComment: Originally posted by carlosgustavo: Nice picture. But could you be more of a worldwide thinker. Not everyone is NORTH AMERICAN. |
LMAO, what a douchebag... What are you supposed to do, fly around the world so you can show the patriotism in Liberia? Perhaps angry dude can be more of a worldwide thinker and realize that some people ARE NORTH AMERICAN.
Technically, there are a few things that can be improved, but the 14 1's and 2's are uncalled for and brought this down to an undeservingly low place. The sad thing is, if the flag was removed from the photograph, the 1's and 2's would probably disappear, as well. So much for worldwide thinking... |

Fast Food, Slow Deathby GolferDDSComment: The addition of the IV makes what would have been a boring shot a lot more interesting. I think some care could have been taken to clean up the order of the fries a bit. As for the sandwich... never seen one of those at McD's, but that doesn't really matter to me. |

SLINKYby RoseytoneComment: I like the lighting and the way the slinky is framed. However, it seems to me that the focus should be on the brighter areas on the right rather than the upper left. |

memories in various packagesby vladkoComment: I think you should have used more of the available file size. This shot is 400x400 and the max id 640x640. I like the block-like effect in this photograph. But with the lighting and dark subjects (especially the hi-8 and vhs) it's hard to differentiate between them. Also, I'm wondering why you chose the border you did. It looks more like the photo is cut off than an actual border - especially at the top. |

Another victim ?by ceovishyComment: I never thought I'd say this, but I think this type of border works well in this shot. I do, however think the shot would have more impact if you cleaned up everything but the cig, butterfly and match, |

Digital Evolutionby sahkoComment: I like the angle caused by the progression from large to small. The photo is crisp and well-exposed. But I think I'd prefer if the background was completely white all around rather than that off-white at the top. |

Wirelessby narlissComment: Good composition and focus. I like the colors coming out of the wire along with the contrast against the background. Certainly a current trend. Not the most photogenic subject, but you did well to make it look interesting. |

Gratuitous Product Placementby brettdComment: Nice composition and dof. I like how the string hangs diagonally across the frame instead of straitght down. Don't really like the blown out sky, especially because there are some darker areas on the upper right. |

Flip Flop Sandalsby stephanComment: Good colors and contrast. There are some imperfections on the flip-flops that should have been taken care of before you too the shot, most notably the stickers by the heel. The fact that you have a border doesn't bother me, I'm just not sure that particular color works. |

Recent trend in snack foodsby dodobirdComment: I think a better depiction would be a shot of the consumers who actually fall for it. "All the taste, fat free! Sure, it gives you the runs, but that's a small price to pay for being skinny!" ;)
I like the contrast between the bags and background, but I think the lighting is a little harsh. I'd suggest some sort of diffuser - even tissues can do the trick. Just don't set them too close to the light or you'll be taking some nice house fire shots. |
