Awakeningby kirbicComment: Thanks for sharing this image with me in the 'mist' thread - you've managed to bring to life many of the words contained within the poem there. Your capture of the mist between the trees on this photo is brilliant. There is a lovely mood within the shot and your sky is a perfect complimentary colour. |

Up Into the Mistby peeceeComment: Your photo leads into that âbrink of mistâ beyond with strong shapes (created by the stone wall, lush greenery and winding road). The fog softens the green colours in the background really nicely. Thanks for sharing this photo with me in the 'mist' thread and bringing to life some of the words in the poem therein ...the âwhitenessâ - mist - that your photo has in the top third, (like the words in the poem), could be like that place thatâs the âbrink to life or deathâ, perhaps? |

Into the Fogby dsa157Comment: I like your photo with these trees either side of the road â leading into the mist. Thereâs something very magical about trees, I think. Thanks so much for sharing it with me in the 'mist' thread and capturing some of the words to the poem therein. |

Misty Morningby dsa157Comment: Thank you for sharing this beautiful photo of yours in the 'mist' thread with me - to bring to life some of the words of the poem I wrote. It's connection to the poem (for me), is it's âlight and dark and shape and shadow overhung with a calm stillnessâ and âthe light of morn, which bridges night and dayâ. I particularly like the way youâve got those trees fading away into the background in your photo. |

Foggy Marshby dg02Comment: Thank you for sharing your photo in the thread about 'mist'. That top 1/3 of your photo (to me) describes the âthe brink to life, or death..â and âlight of morn, which bridges night and dayâ and âdimensions like those dreamed up for tellers of ghost storiesâ, which are mentioned in the lines of the poem I shared with you. This particular photo has meandering water leading into the mist and I like the grasses in the foreground. |

The Mists of Coquilleby mocabelaComment: Thank you for thinking of this image and posting it in the 'mist'poem thread. It's a lovely capture of mist in the trees â Like a âbackwashâ(as said in the poem)to the rest of those lovely autumn colours and shapes in the foreground of the photo. |

Ready to batby trunkiComment: Giving this an 8 ...might bump higher after finished voting on the rest. Don't know what makes this such a nice photo. Good use of rule of 3rds? Or Triangles? Maybe you could tell me. (Sorry, still learning about all that stuff). Whatever - there's something very appealing about this photograph. Perhaps it's the colours and shapes in it - and yes, it still has team sport action as its theme - but seems to be very artistically captured within that theme.
........Kept the score of 8 on it. Just wondering if the image might look even better with some sort of brighter lighting - in some way? |

i love this GAMEby theONE77Comment: Meets the challenge for sure. Indicates team sport - and action too. Focus is drawn to the figure in the photo (a pun?). :-) |

Tripped Upby jimmyn4Comment: Good capture - plenty of action. Nice DOF too. A confusion of arms and legs in the photo. Something slightly unnerving about the player to the front almost appearing to mingle with the player (in blue) behind - so that he has one hand holding the ball and two more arms aswell! |
