This looks horribly pixelated. Either it is from a cellphone, or you used a wrong resizing method.
If this is from a cellphone, I'd suggest you to try avoiding, as much as possible, shooting stuff featuring fine patterns (like bricks).

Wow! Cross-process, flare, visible grain, and you still won a ribbon here on DPC. I hope this is an ongoing trend here.

The pic itself:
The backlighting on pigeons and on the hand's hair convey the feeling of a low rise winter sun, accentuated by the cold colors of the cross process. Overall, this convey a peacefull moody feeling, which is quite an achievment considering that it was probably full of pigeons freneticly flying everywhere.

That is a really interesting piece of work.
It seems to be mostly inspired by Rosso Fiorentino (Il Rosso), with perhaps a bit of Inspiration from Rubens for the position of Mary. Mary Magdalene as kissing the feet seems be be a free interpretation from the photographer/director.
Now, what I am trying to understand is why Saint John, which is the person on the bottom right within Rosso Fiorentino's painting, and from which your bottom right character seems to be partially inspired, is depicted as a woman there.

It's now about 15 minutes that I am looking at your work, so within a DPC voting session I'd say that this is a success.

I'm not that suprised at the relatively low score of this one (but I have many shots scored way lower than that).

The DOF and subtle light are perfect, but...

*The noise is problematic, especially the red component of it. I personally don't like color noise, in my mind this is associated to "low quality P&S/phone". I understand that you decided to add this noise, which is your own choice, fine. But it would probably have scored better if you only added luminance noise instead of color noise. Luminance noise can sometimes fool the viewer into thinking "grain", while color noise most of the time can't.

*Framing. (I am coming from a part of the world where we write from left to right, so Arabic or Asian people might have a different opinion on this)
The gull is going to the right, and his head is aligned on the upper right Rule of Third point. But as it is moving, I know that he is going to the right. The problem is that his head is already quite close to the right border of the frame, and he doesn't have much space to move within the frame. When looking at this pic, I then have the feeling that the gull will soon go out of the frame, leading me to already reconsider the picture without the gull in it. Having more empty space on the right would have allowed me to have a better, more "static" look at this picture.

My guess is that this shot required quite some planning. I'm not found of the make up with the very dark eyes, but on the other hand they match the hairs, and are providing a nice contrast against the skin tones.
Clothing colors are both perfectly chosen.

Although you will probably score low, in my opinion this high key portrait is technically very good, perfectly exposed.
Composition is a bit too centered for my taste, I would have prefered a bit more space on the left and just a bit less on the right.
