7 Card Drawby bigfishComment: I like the idea for this shot, but it suffers from a shallow DoF with focus in the wrong spot. The 7 of spades should have been the sharpest element in the shot. Also, shots smaller than the 640 max usually take a score hit. |

The Cliqueby SkipComment: I like this shot - it makes me think of scifi. Are those tictacs? I like the choice of focus here, too bad its a basic challenge, those spots (dirt, sensor dust?) would have been nice to clone out. |

sketch a rainbowby coldaComment: Love the compostion colors and subject, but the shot feels a little off technically. I think the image suffers from what looks like a really tight crop and not enough light. Focus seems a little soft, maybe camera shake too? |

Romeo 34 Bravo, taxi to runway 30, Altimeter 29.83by photomComment: I had to go hunting to find this one - I thought it was in the planes, trains, autos challenge. =] I was thinking about shots that I'd seen in the past and this one came to mind. I really liked the lighting and composition - something about it really seemed to "pop" for me. |
