2 in 1 (fisherman serendipity)by frumoazniculComment: It took me a while to figure this one out (with help from your title). Still, it's not clear that there's another fish in the mouth - it simply looks like this fish has a forked tongue (which would be an interesting find, actually). I would have liked to see if framed a little better to see that other fish in the mouth, and maybe pull back a little so we can see more of the larger fish (more of its eye, anyway) Good catch! |

penicillinby garlicComment: I think your concept is very interesting (about Fleming's discovery) but I would like to see the lemon more in focus than the other items in the foreground. Also, I think more items that would suggest a lab would help. I do like the background color though, I like how it contrasts the yellow and blue of the fruit. |

could it be serendipity?:)by GOLNAZZZComment: I don't know what this is, so I find it hard to vote. I like the colors but the are distracting scratches or streaks. I think I'd like more crispness to it and perhaps more context for what the subject is. |

Honey, how would you like your egg doneby RUEDISCHMUTZComment: It's an interesting idea but the staging needs a little work. The background does not benefit the photo - the colors of the floor are too close to the eggshell and lose the color of the yolk. The inside of the egg is overexposed and draws the eye away from the treasure, which is a shame. |

A Hidden Treasureby ManikzComment: I can't quite figure this one out - is it just a little cave? The composition seems a little off - the large stone to the left is too dominant. But the idea of refuge as serendipity is an interesting one. |

"that's my name"by kevrobertsonComment: While I enjoy the candid nature of this and the use of black and white, I think I would like to see a bit more crisp focus to it. |

In search of trees...but found thisby bruskiComment: Wonderfully colorful sky and great backlit vehicle. It conveys a sense of wonder and perhaps a brief repose to enjoy the grandeur of the sunset - a figure within the frame would probably help to sell the idea of serendipity. |

The Ability to Standby ResurrectedComment: An interesting shot but I wish the lower half was better lit and with better contrast. But the composition is intriguing and the architecture lends itself to this type of shot. |

steal of a dealby ajwiComment: feels oversaturated on the green side (I looked at this on two different monitors to be sure) and I'd like to see crisper focus on the sign or cans. I do like the homespun feel to it and the beam/railroad tie in the frame. |

Bottlecapby nfesselComment: A gritty and intersting shot, especially with the lines in the concrete (or asphalt?) but I didn't find it terribly compelling past that - perhaps it could be improved if the bottle cap were in crisper view. |
