The only thing tying this into 'serendipity' is the title, and I don't believe you that it was a surprise visit. :)

Did you honestly take this picture to fulfill the contest, or did you just look for a picture you already had and force it into a contest that's completely unrelated? I hope it's the latter, because I'd rather you be lazy than uncreative if you know what I mean. Push yourself, you have some great talent! Nice color, focus, and expression! :)
