blending inby unikornComment: This is a poorly lit and composed shot. The harsh lighting denies any feeling of texture and the composition manages to lose all the aspects of the subject that are interesting (fur, eyes, whiskers etc) Experiment more with lighting and exposure to see what works better. |

d'orangeby BurgyBoyComment: Poor focus and too shiny to properly bring out the feel of this subect.Use a tripd and experiment with focus and exposure and lighting to see how this can be improved. |

First One Out!by drydocComment: Good choice of subject. Might have been good to see more popped corn as it has a far more interestign and 'feely' texture than the unpopped. |

Awww NUTS!by slgardnerComment: I feel I want this sharper or closer but it's good all the same. particularly olie the way you've included the full range of textures of shell, inside shell, nut with skin, nut without skin etc.. |

Rotten Woodby cjavierComment: Good entry. Would have been improved IMHO by leaving out the padlock. alternatively, keep the padlock in but improve the focus on it - it's not in focus and is a bit washed out so ends up as a bit of a distraction from the wonderful worn wood and metalwork. 7 |
