Really good POV. It lifts the picture out of what could have been an ordinary shot.

I like the play on words - I like the unusual angle - I like the framing of the building between the 2 pieces of vegetation. The only thing that spoils it is the converging vertcles. I accept that some people don't mind them or they can even be exaggerated for effect. I don't think these converge enough to get away with it. Excellent exposure though an an effective picture.

I love these - This should be in a newspaper - it should go with a story - I don't know what story but it should be held in a library. It can be cropped in a multitude of ways and still be great. Boy in back row 2nd from right is a character in himself.
Love it

I did think of school days when I saw this - specifically school holidays. I suspect some may say "why is that school days".....Ignore them. My only problem is the footprints do not look like a childs footprints and that is where I would heave it out in a competition. I am not saying it is NOT a childs footprint. Maybe a shell or similar would have just put the scale into it. Love the aspect and the high horizon. Reflections are great.

I like this and dark skin tones with lots of white in the picture are always a nightmare to expose. This was almost spot on. I like the obvious low light from the right side but find the big shadow distracting. A much tighter crop on the left and the top would leave all the elements still there - and as long as the plate is still there along with the shadows of the page there is still enough information to show the dramatic effect of the lighting.

A very difficult shot to expose and has achieved it well. If there was the time I would have taken another with a far wider aperture to have lost some dof in the background. Try cropping out the cupboard (I think it is) on the left. It competes with the light colour of the jumper and is off vertical.

Don't drink the green water!
Joking apart I think it would have improved it if you had clear water and a green vase. Mainly because if you look carefully at where the hand is gripping the vase it has flattened and sqashed the forefinger making it look uncomfortable. As it is so bright compared to its surrounding it also makes it obvious and distracting.
The blue highlight on the vase looks distracting -. I pulled it into photoshop and did some adjusting - replicating only what you could do in camera or with background - this is what I did
Got rid of the blue background on the right - creating an even background - that immediately too a little of the ptressure off the fingers. changed the blue highlight to white and darkened down the fingers. Finally changed the clear glass green and the water white.
Left the composition exactly the same and I feel it changed it from a photo to A picture.

I am a little concerned that the point of focus appears to be the cloth down in the bottom right hand corner.
I think it may have been improves by getting the pof on the central stand and allowing both bowls to be out of focus.
I like the composition and the material on the right. I think maybe you should have tried a few more variations on the theme - moving the camera a little more.

This almost worked very well. I am sure many others will comment on the same thing
"Care of your background"
The creases and particularly the line above the archers right shoulder ruin a potentially great shot. It looks, unfortunately like a "hanging sheet"
The graduation of light is nice - the semi-silhouette is great - the composition is great -
JUST THE BACKGROUND.
