Turntableby ManikzComment: This would look great in a company brochure! I love the geometric feel of circles and edges around the arm. I wonder though if you considered getting rid of the Numark sticker in the bottom right - the grey around the sticker is pretty uniform so it should be relatively straight-forward to copy a small square. I just find the sticker distracting... Still, I think this is a super shot, taken at a great angle, with a very clear focus and totally fulfills the challenge criteria. 9. |

Nature's Archtectureby silverleafComment: It's a good image, but I not really convinced this fall under the remit of Design and Engineering. Very pretty, not very relevant, but a nice image all the same. 7. |

Off/Onby K-RobComment: I'm a total sucker for neon, so I'm naturally drawn to this one. The detail is impressive, and the concept of shiny metal buttons screams of the challenge. Very well done, good choice... Unusually, the border also actually compliments the image. 10. |

Look at the lamps on that!by johnmComment: This is from one of my current favourite cars - the gorgeous Range Rover. Personally, I think the rear lights are more impressive, especially when the break lights come on... Anyhoo. This is a great choice of material for the challenge, and you've captured it very well. Super focus. 9. |

Playing with Fireby mrblobbyComment: I really quite like this picture, and I am dead impressed with how you did it and your obviously blatant disregard for self-preservation ;) I thought the pointing finger was totally superfluous though, kind of mockingly detracts from the impressive nature of the rest of the image. Also, closer shot of the important stuff might have worked. Liked both concept and image though - 8. |

If a tree falls in a forest...by RichT8496Comment: wow! you have FAR too much spare time! What a brilliant image - can't help but think that this would make a fantastic record sleeve (actually, it's slightly reminiscent of Origin of Symmetry by Brit band Muse). Love it. 10. |
