The thing about pictures like this (of which this is a fantastic example) is that it makes me want to go out and spend 800 quid on a top notch camera. This is excellent, easily falling within the remit of the challenge. Especially impressed with the movement; makes me think that it could cause a hurricane in Borneo. Nicely cropped too. 9.

It's not really a criticism, but I might have liked to see a little less of the interior and a little more of what's going on outside. Maybe a zoom in and a little cropped from the bottom - a little less focus on the Focus, if you'll excuse the pun. I do like the contrast between the serene environment inside and the mad goings-on outside though... I think a 7.

This is a fantastic picture, totally adorable and I can't imagine it improved upon at all. The use of perspective is unsurpassed, and it is definitely my joint-favourite in this challenge.

I might be insane, but I think this is one of the few flower shots where the flower is actually (aghast!) orange! Well done you for not being colour blind! It's a super shot, brilliant composition and wow, I can't see the stalk. Totally gorgeous. I love how the flower fills the shot just right. Nothing wrong with this at all. 10.

Messy! Wipe that chin! It's a nice action shot, and hopefully it will do well. The bottle is a little lacking in focus, but I guess that's the payoff in acheiving a picture like this. I actually like it, quite original. 8.

Tis a very nice sky, and yes, there is definitely some orange in there. The clouds are a bit unusual too, and adds something different that most sunrise shots seem to lack. It's a bit of a pity that the landscape doesn't do much, but for this challenge it's enough that the focal point is the sky itself (afterall orange is the prime objective here). So, I think, 7.

I never did like the targa that much - much prefer the normal version... anywoo, that will not be influencing my voting because I still think this is a really good picture, and you've chosen the best bit of any 911 - the rear wheel arch. The light really works for his picture, showing off all the curves nicely. It's a bit regrettable the green car is reflected in the shot, but other than calling a tow truck, I guess that's something unavoidable (shame only basic editting was allowed). However, it certainly is ornage (a very nice retro one at that) so I don't think i'm unreasonable giving an 8.

I'm sure I'm just one of a bandwagon here, but this would be great for the motion blur challenge. And unfortunately, I'm not really certain if a red jacket, a couple of orange carrier bags and a bit of orangey blur in a window conveys enough onus on the orange part of this challenge. Also, the image might have been improved if you were a bit more severe in the cropping (get rid of the roof of the station) and a bit of a zoom in on your central person. Still, even though I personally think it doesn't quite fulfill the spirit of the challenge, I think that you should at least be rewarded for impeccable timing, and for what I think is a fairly funky shot. 6.

Interesting perspective on a well-tried favourite. I didn't think I could ever like another piano shot again, and I was totally wrong. nice one. 8.
