Being agnostic / erring towards atheism, on a personal basis i can't really relate to this shot. However, I know a damn good picture when i see it, and see it i do. I like muchly the lighting, the shadow cast across the page, and the quality of the image - focus, composition and DOF all, to me (an amateur with no talent) seems spot on. I think that it could do with a slightly going over with neatimage to make the colours a bit bolder, but that aside, very good! 8.

STRONG drink

This is actually a deceptively complicated shot - either you have many friends or you're an octopus. Might be more impressive if you added a whisp of guiness into the mix but still... Stuff pouring from a bottle is ALWAYS photogenic when captured well, and i would say you've certainly done that. Very well done - though it might be a tad sharper if a slightly shorter shutter time was used... I like this, it fits the challenge and deserves to do well. Only question is, did you drink the subject in question?

Le Tour Eiffel is very popular this week. Well, i've seen two so far. I actually saw it for the first time myself this time last month... Very impressive it is too, and particularly photogenic. I must ask, why have you included the signage in the frame? There are lots of viewpoints which are sign free, and I really do not think that the signs adds anything to your shot. Most people would know it's in Paris (apart from Lancashirians who might think it's Blackpool Tower) so a point of reference really isn't needed. Also, the tree is getting in the way of the view... Pity that the sky is overcast too, but there's little you can do about that. 5.

Is pressure really a measure of strength? Not sure; i don't profess to be an expert so i'll not form an opinion. Anyway, it's 2900 PSI - sorry! Being pernickity. I'll stop it. I actually think this is quite elgant in an understated kind of way, and I think the pipe to the left adds rather than detracts from the image, which in itself is a rarity. The lighting is a bit amiss - the shadow on the face is a little unfortunate, but i guess unavoidable. In all, I like it! I wonder; did you try this in sepia to see how it looked? 7.

Nice to see someone's got the balls to do something humurous (if you'll excuse the pun). Technically, i think the image is a tad over-exposed (personally i felt the background is too harshly white), and a little bit on the noisy side, but i think it's cropped well and presented with a good bit of thought. Bit naughty (i wonder how many prudes will unfairly knock you down), and fit's the challenge. 7.

Very gorgeous car and a fantastic set of wheels. I especially like how you've managed to take a picture in an environment where the only colour left is that wonderful shocking blue. The environment is also suitably perfect in a Mad Max post-apocalyptic kind of way. The wheels are just about prominent / large enough to, in my mind, fill the criteria of the challenge (my eyes are automatically drawn to them) - and what great wheels they are too. I hope you tell us what they are cause these would look brill on my silver saab. My only slight recommendation would be to not crop quite so close to the front edge of the car. Even so, this is one of my top 5 this week. 9.

This is a great picture; i adore rusty trucks that have so much character. Only you've gone and cropped out most of the wheel! I so want to give this a high score... The detail is unimprovable, though i might have wanted to rip the wing mirror off (the shadow is a bit of an unwelcomed distraction). Sigh. If the wheel factor wasn't so important, 9. But i have to knock a point off for excessive cropping of the thing that the subject is supposed to be about. Sorry. 8.

Not sure about the title - the image doesn't really convey any sort of movement. But i like the photo - nice and sharp, and the colours against the dark sky are very striking. Interesting crop too.

VERY pretty! I love the colours and the lighting suits very well. Creative and stylish, my only slight complaint is the ugly spindle in the middle (i wonder how it would look with that cropped out?), but that aside, a real attention grabber. 8. Incidentally, this would have been a stonking shot for the motion blur!

Interesting subject matter, but far too noisy for my preference. And i think i might have rotated the image 5 or so degrees clockwise, so the trucks wheels and trailer were more level.
