Scardy Catby kosmikkreeperComment: Only the cat doesn't look in the least scared! Might have been interesting the other way 'round with the shadow of a pouncing cat above the photographer. Very nice composition and tonal control. |

Two "Shadows" (Swimming Pool Projection in the Wall + Shadow)by librodoComment: I take it from the title that this is not a manipulated image, but it it is tough to work out what a 'swimming pool projection in the wall' might be. A very ethereal shot. The camera strap(?) even looks a little like a restrain - hence a kind of freedom and bondage juxtaposition. I like it. |

Flute-playing Shadowby nicoledbComment: This is a strong image. It is clever and fun, but a little compromised by focus and the reflection / shadow of the flute. |

The Escape by jjbeguinComment: Very nice colour and dynamic use of the theme in a well-considered composition. 9 |

Touching Up my Shadow by BeagleboyComment: This is a great idea and well done. The only thing I find odd is your decision to use a chair. Do you paint walls seated? If the figure was standing as if REALLY painting, it would have been far more effective. |

Year of the Rabbitby MWittComment: This was my highest rated shot in the comp. Nicely oblique, the sort of image often found in witty British advertising . Unfortunately, another victim of democracyâ€Â¦ |

IceHotelby indigo997Comment: Well if there was ever a 'cool' picture this has to be it. Well done. I wish there was just a little more of the contrasting warm light - or a white Husky in the foreground. Did you stay a night? |

Down in the Dumpsby nsoroma79Comment: Great tonal control and composition. A fine, subtle portrait - though I'd have preferred a title that didn't tell me what the emotion is supposed to be; it limits the response. |
