Breakersby ImagineerComment: One of the best. Good luck! What is the dark halfmoon to the right of the sun? It looks too geometric to be clouds. I might try to smooth that out a little. That sun is so bright I almost need my sunglasses to write this critique. Really great shot! 9 |

Point of No Returnby dsidwellComment: One of my top picks. good luck! The dark blue part of your sky is maybe a little overdone. The blue paint looks a little pixelated in spots. Might be a little too blue, and a lttle too uniform. Theres kind a hard horizontal transition under the barbed wire that distracts from your silouette. Nice work. 8 |

Mating Dance? by photomComment: This might win a ribbon. One of my favorites. I might spend the extra time to remove the sticks or leaves that are floating in the water under the highest bird. Also to right there looks like a couple specs of digital noise. Just a great shot. Good luck! 9 |

Guiding Lightby LtHousLadyComment: One of my favorites. A potential ribbon! I like the way the widows on the right highlight the siloutte. But on the left, what is that? Another window? Kind of distracting. I think I would black out all three of the windows so as not to distract from the siloutte. Good luck! 9 |

Foggy Morningby GolferDDSComment: my choice for best of show. Wonderful tones, great composiition, I love that spooky feel to the cloudy background. Almost surreal, like an etching. Just love it. 10 |

First round draft pick.by cabaComment: Nice depth of field, but I think that you do lose a little detail in the forward arm. A very striking shot. I might have cropped to preserve the forward hand (do gorillas have hands or paws?), and given up some of the wall behind. Nice job. 7 |

STEELby fluxnComment: You framed this very nicely, and printed dark without losing alot of detail. Very nice capture, one of the best in show. Good luck! 8 |

Stronger than Steelby GordonComment: An extremely nice capture and placed well agaist what I assume is a created background. If that is the case you did a great job of selecting to isolate your subject, and a great job of color selection. I am distracted by the gray stripe to the left of the bud. My is pulling left. But, your framing is tall and skinny to begin with, so for tighter cropping you would have had to take some off the bottom as well, and lost some of your yellows in the bud. But, thant-s what I would have done. Great post. 8 |
