I found this image rather striking. The butterfly definitely draws the attention and is nice and clear. It almost looks like its sitting on the image rather than in it, its so sharp. I like it!

I love the contrast of the vivid blossoms against the rich brown wood and black background. It really draws the eye. I also like the way the vase and the chair seem to meld together - It may have more drama with an alternatively colored vase though. The one issue I had with this is that the base seems to have a good focus and clarity but the flowers, which draw my attention have just a bit of fuzz to them, detracting a bit. I don't do still-life so I admit I'm going on gut reaction rather than technical savvy. Still, a very enjoyable photograph!

An interesting interpretation. The bits of glass have a story to tell, and I can imagine something having come to rest, however violently, from looking at the glass shards. I like the cool blue hue of the image, but I do find the half screen of blurredness to be very distracting. I cannot tell if that was purposeful (my guess is not), but I would find the image more interesting if it were entirely in focus, or if the blurring was kept to the outer edges as a thin border. I rated this lower than I might have due to the blurring.

I found this to be a very interesting photograph. I really like how the light highlights on parts of the angel, leaving the rest in darkness. It definitely grabbed my attention. I also like the mellow coloring of the angel. The whole composition fits the challenge very well.

Rest? From the looks of it this bad boy just may be Rip Van Winkle. I really like the fall colors against the dark and rusted body of this vehicle. Not only that, but I find the contrast between the strength of the steel and the delicacy of the fallen leaves to make the picture even more interesting. I get a sense of having been conquered and slowly languishing into oblivion. Wonderful vision!

I like the concept of this image, but the sunlight coming in and its rays on the child's hand do distract from the photograph in my opinion. I think taken at a different time of day perhaps, so the light rays are coming down from the top left corner and onto the child's face (rays not actually seen in the photo except the lighting of the face though) might improve the shot.

Nice photo! I like the way the natural light is emphasizing your subject. As an experiment, I would suggest instead of the sideshot, something more straight on and a tighter crop leaving just the cat and the window, I think with the resulting thin black background (or border if you decided to do that) it would 'pop' a bit more.
