Nettlecombeby tembaComment: I love the wonderful colour blends in this photo - contrasts & complements, distant highlights extending the scene. It is peaceful, even the darker storm clouds are only hints of a coming thunder which does not penetrate the veil - yet. |

Snow is Comingby ti_evomComment: There is a sense of autumnal symmetry in this photo, and the lines draw one in. The field is almost pastoral & contrasts nicely with the blazing orange-red colours. The sky is grey however & hints at your title. Snow is coming & is probably not far off but there is peace in the overlap of seasons. |

Beyond the Sunsetby dtremainComment: I like how the late autumn sunlight is casting elongated shadows on the quiet cemetery - almost like a quiet reminder of a shortening sense of time paralleling the individual mortality of the photoseeker as well. I like how the darker canopy of tree foliage is holding down the light to the centre essence. All too soon the sunset light will be lost. |

Autumn Mosaicby chipucComment: I love the individual autumnal mini mosaic pieces in this macro leaf forming a cohesive whole. The colour shifts are nice from the gold to the rust red-brown to bits of still holding one summer green. Very nice microcosm indeed. |

Autumn's Golden Lightby bassboneComment: I like the abstract almost brush-like texture which composes this shot. The brilliant golds & oranges contrast nicely with the dark black of the trunks. Fall has a most definite sense of movement here, well done. |

immersionby posthumousComment: The leaves here are on so many levels that it almost looks surreal. I like that aspect of it, however the specular highlights of the water are a bit distracting. The mid-lower quadrant leaves are the most crisp & it captures the chaotic moving season that is Fall quite well. |

Aint much left on the trees in Canada, ehby snakepitComment: November is a cold month, well past the brilliance of October. I like the concept of this, however I would like to see more brilliant saturation even in the detritus of the leaves & ground cover. |

Oh Yea, I'm Handsomeby jimboneComment: What a handsome fellow admiring that other handsome fellow in the water. I like the autumn reflections in this - it gives the photograph a sense of timelessness without specific reference. |
