The Line Upby Five_SeatComment: Meets Challenge: 2 of 3. Dare I say it's too bright?
Technical: 2 of 3. I don't like the hood shadow in the top left of the image. Maybe a more distant backdrop would have either softened or removed that shadow altogether.
Emotion: 2 of 3. These are very clearly old friends. I can tell by the wear and tear on the hoods. But the way they are posed seems a little clinical to me. Wanted to see some pizazz or drama.

Fluxby ChinarosepetalComment: Meets Challenge: 1 of 3. You might be able to convince me it's low key, but it's a stretch.
Technical: 3 of 3. What a great shot, though!
Emotion: 3 of 3. I love the streaks, almost looks water colored.

Champby VitaminBComment: Meets Challenge: 3 of 3. YES! Finally!
Technical: 3 of 3. Good on all counts.
Emotion: 3 of 3. That poor schmooshy-faced puppy. I used to have a sharpei, and while not schmooshy-faced, the wrinkles are certainly in common. I bet he's a super fun dog to play with.

"Bring me the Dark Red"by wdammanComment: Meets Challenge: 3 of 3.
Technical: 3 of 3. I bet someone else has complained about how dark your photo is, but I love it. You're showing everything I need to see to see everything.
Emotion: 2 of 3. Wine for one? Aww.

The Countby ErikVComment: Meets Challenge: 1 of 3. Yes it's very dark, but I'm missing those highlights that give form to the darkness. As it is, it's just a dark subject on a dark background.
Technical: 3 of 3. Only thing I might have liked better was if you cropped tighter around the head. The feathers on his back aren't doing anything for the shot.
Emotion: 2 of 3. It's certainly not a boring shot, but it's missing some drama I think.

Ghoulishby JeffryZComment: Meets Challenge: 2 of 3. Wish there was a little less light on the ghoul, so the highlights could take center stage instead of the whole form.
Technical: 2 of 3. I really don't like that wire coming out of his head. Really ruins things for me. Otherwise, it's technically a good shot.
Emotion: 1 of 3. A profile doesn't do this beast justice. I want him to scare me, not stand at a distance and seem indifferent.

Bass linesby keyzComment: Meets Challenge: 3 of 3.
Technical: 2 of 3. I'd almost say you could crop the top at/near her eyebrow and bring a more focus on the bass. As it is, my eye is very interested in the textures of that pillow.
Emotion: 2 of 3. A long day of jamming will make you want to lay down. Especially with that pillow in the shot, I want to see her more tired or exhausted from playing... less placidly posing.

Symmetryby ronaldfwComment: Meets Challenge: 2 of 3. Maybe a little too bright on the surface of the building. Would rather have had you use more edge highlights to give the shape.
Technical: 2 of 3. My only complaint is that the middle part of the building and the right end of the building lack details, they're pretty overblown. Good use of border and fantastic reflection.
Emotion: 3 of 3. The saturation on the building really brings out its purpose, to be a light to those around it.

moonlightby Shutter-For-HireComment: Meets Challenge: 3 of 3. I almost gave this a 2 of 3, but I like how the light is being used to show what's otherwise missing from the shot, the rain.
Technical: 2 of 3. I'd almost prefer you crop a little tighter around the car, and get that street light out of the picture. Exposure and focus are good though.
Emotion: 2 of 3. The B&W and car model gives it a feel from a different time. The car doesn't appear to be moving though, since I can't see any spray from the rear tires. I'd have preferred it if the driver was actually going somewhere instead of posing.

Garden of Edenby DaleFrazierPhotographyComment: Meets Challenge: 3 of 3.
Technical: 2 of 3. No offense to the model, honestly, but the lack of focus on her (?) back, and around the end almost makes the picture look like flowers on a bell pepper. It's a bit distracting. I *know* it's a person (and lovely one, I'm sure)... but my brain keeps saying "it's a bell pepper". Otherwise... very good composition and lighting. The reflections/ghosts of the flowers on her skin is excellent.
Emotion: 3 of 3. Knowing full well she's not a bell pepper, though, it's a very innocent and yet sensual photo.
