Hit from all sidesby MAKComment: You need to have the watch lit up too! As it is now, why is the watch even in the frame? |

Sun v. Sodium - There Can Be Only One!by mpburtonComment: I'll bet a lot of people won't understand the title--they'll wonder what "salt" has to do with anything. :-)
I'm assuming you are referring to the sodium lights normally found in large spaces, and your photo shows that sunlight is naturally much brighter. That's a long way to go for most DPC voters, I'm afraid. :-) |

Nell'ombraby MarkComment: I find the background here a lot more interesting than the vase--the play in light between the cool gray on the left and warm yellow light on the right is great. The vase itself is tilted (intentionally?). |

Coloursby HRoxasComment: Great color, cool photo. I think it needs a little bit of clockwise rotation though. |

Multiple, more than 1by PixelproseComment: This probably won't do well, but I really like this photo. It's very simple, but mysterious at the same time. The two light sources are obvious, even if one of them is out of the frame, and it creates a nice effect. 7 |

Watermelonisiousby mirdonamyComment: Good try, but the technicals need a bit of work. It's slightly out of focus, and there are a couple black specks on the red side of the background. |

Bowls by flip89Comment: Very nice--Simple, great color, nice diagonal composition. I'd like to know what lights you used, and how you got the different colors! |

Waiting at Casa del Solby pmichaudComment: Yes, there are 2 light sources, but unfortunately they aren't very well controlled. The bright window is completelyl blown out, and the area above the table is too dark in relation to it. This is an example of a scene with very difficult exposure conditions. A good try for the challenge though. |
