Now this is a very cool photo - I love that the bird is looking at the man as he looks away. Great scene with the sand dune and setting sun. The only thing that seems off is the lighting from the front - somehow it makes the photo surreal in a not so good way like a movie set or something. But thanks for a different scene!

Very emblematic, especially the candidness and the show of arms makes it more serious - the fall colors add a poignancy as well -given the idea of remembering the fallen. I'm not being crass by saying that either, their sacrifice is well taken.
