Misty Sunsetby SandyPComment: I agree with Dseale; at first you think someone is playing tricks with you on the multiple mts. Great eye to see this!
I am glad I found all these; they are new to me.
Again so pretty and great POV! |

Bierstadt Lakeby SandyPComment: okay, how far is this one ? (hike I mean)
Are those ducks I see? They are coming toward you? Interesting for truly wild ducks.
I don't know the names of all the lakes like you do, so that is nice to find out.
Reflection of course very nice.
Since we are friends I will tell you, I cropped the foreground cutting out a lot of the rocks under the water that I didn't especially like and thought that was good. The only thing I didn't like about that was losing the rocks on the right. Just my thoughts.
The other thing I didn't like.......... is that I was not there shooting it too!!...:)
Hope we are still friends!

Be assured I will never get this shot!
Neat shot, and I know from other alpine lakes that water is cold!! |

Bluebird Balletby Len ScapComment: I have shot just enough "attempts" of birds to know how hard this is. Despite the issues cited, it is a fabulous shot especially his turning I guess. In motion like that is what really makes this shot in my opinion! I see no issues with cropping; I think it accentuates the bird.
Beautiful! |

Blackwell Creekby rlewisComment: Okay, First so you know I joined here(newbie) to let others help me, and sharpen my skills. Therefore I am also going to try to do that here too. (I think that was my excuse for getting very picky)
My first reaction to this shot is that it is beautiful. The stream leads you through it, very nice; and the water flow is good effect too; very soothing overall.
Then it didn't take me long to think "too much green" and that stays with me now too. Even the large rock on right shows almost all green. Maybe color editing, by whatever means you want to do it, to bring out some of the browns and other colors to balance this out? Maybe it's just me!
Thanks for letting us comment on your photo. Be assured you can do the same on mine if and when I get them on here! |
