I think I had a similar experience to others with this image. I kind of didn't like it so much at first (maybe the busy-ness of it?), but it grew on me. I think this has helped me solidify how I'll handle voting in the future (as I ended up doing on this challenge): I'll look thru everything early, then come back to the challenge entries and take my time and vote on my 2nd or 3rd viewing of the image. I ended up giving this an 8.

I must be on some kind of a parallel wavelength with tanguera (this and other comments in this challenge). I almost put something in my comment during voting about feeling like I was looking up, but I had nothing more than that vague "up-ness", and ended up editing it out before clicking on the 8 button. It might be the quality of the "light" coming thru your subject that gives me the sensation of (sun?)light coming from above.
