Saver Lifeby SonifoComment: I like the lighting here. The soft gray shadows add "color" to an otherwise monochrome image. This approach to the Round challenge is a reminder that roundness is a matter of perspective. |

Oreos on Ice by dsidwellComment: Originally posted by dsidwell:

Good question. When I find that out, I'll let you know, but it's probably the same reason I used green kisses and a red apple in another of my shots. Maybe I'm just bizarre! |
I'll vouch for bizarre. But I can't think of anything better to use. The dark Oreos contrast with the light fog and have an interesting texture. Nice choice of color, and the swirling details in the fog were captured perfectly. |

New Family Trend: Feeding Baby (2 months)by KoriyamaComment: The high key exposure and soft focus are appropriate for this photograph. The exposure of the face is great; you can still make out the nose and cheeks. But the bottom part of the image is too over-exposed; you can't make out the mother's fingers and the baby's hair is washed out. |

Wanda's Rainbowby StewanComment: Nice use of color. The well-controlled motion blur makes the image more dynamic. |

Green = Stress ;o) [Mood Rings; back & better]by TwocentzComment: I like your composition. The soft focus on the back of the ring shows what it is without distracting from the \"mood\" part. The light (and seemingly doubled) reflection adds interest. And it is surrounded by just the right amount of white space. |

My PET ROCK is bigger than yours!by r_sandlerComment: You're right; it is bigger than mine. But that's OK; I prefer the smaller ones; they're easier to pet. The clouds add interest to this image without unduly distracting from the subject. The strong side lighting brings out the texture of the rock, but also casts a shadow that hides part of the rock. If I were photographing my pet rock I'd just turn it a bit to get the lighting right! But your's is probably too big. |

A growing trend. by DiversqComment: Nice control over the depth of field here. The background is a bit distracting, but its soft focus helps direct the viewer's attention back to the subjects. |
