IMG_3973a.jpgby bex85Comment: Echinacea Purpurea always attracts butterflies and bees. Vertical cropping might make the composition better. Getting rid of the extra space on the left and the right would make this even more interesting. |

The Surfby sfaliceComment: :P
Fuuny as I was also going to shoot at Baker Beach, but decided it was such a nice day that I would walk down to the Cliffhouse and shoot from there. Message edited by author 2006-08-13 16:54:27. |

mouse.jpgby deapeeComment: Tiny bit more DOF at the top of the mouse and bottom of the usb plug. Maybe lose some of that reflection on the mouse but overall simple and clean, so it makes for a good image.
Understated gray border works well with the image. |

In the forestby Arti-ElviComment: Interesting worms' eye view of the forest. This could be an opening to a horror movie. The camera sweeping upwards and further into the trees. The darkness in trees really add to this. |

Silenceby Arti-ElviComment: Gives the feeling of desolation, but hope. As you look at the photo you see nothing, then disarray, then a person is there with the sun. Can't tell if this is a sunset or sun rise but I like to think it is a sun rise. A new beginning or hope. |

Lifeby Arti-ElviComment: The tilt helps to give a feeling of struggle. The pose of the model helps also. The uphill climb of "Life" I guess. The sun in the composition gives the feeling of neverending journey. Impossible to reach. |

Reflectionby Arti-ElviComment: Amazingly I didn't even noticed that it was a reflection until I saw the title. Reflections usually have a soft feeling to them, but you were able to achieve a pretty sharp results here, especially the brickwork.
Looks like a special effect was used with the man's legs faded. Looks almost like a ghost.
The lights and darks in the shadows really bring out some impressive shapes. |

Fleurby Arti-ElviComment: Awesome expression. Makes me feel like she is not happy being punished or something. Putting the model next to the wall helps to give this feeling. Can't help but stare at her eyes. |
