The Kitchen Gardenby LizzComment by Kavey: Lovely, simple, but unusual perspective - really makes use of that wonderful spiral at the centre. Shame the leaves are so tattered/ chewed. 8 |

The Kitchen Gardenby LizzComment by gabrielapollo: a closer zoom and crisper focus would definitley make this one better, the dmaged leaves take away from the symmetry of the plant. nice pic, though. |

The Kitchen Gardenby LizzComment by Pidd: This is one of my favorites. It would look great as a magazine cover because of the placement on the page, but also because the colors and textures are so vivid. It would have been nice had a little bug not gotten to the leaves since I would think a gardening magazine of any kind would try to feature a near-perfect plant on their cover...unless of course the cover article is about how to deal with plant-eating bugs. LOL Anyway, I think you fit the criteria of the challenge very nicely with this shot. |

Bubble Liquidby LizzComment by SweetKali: A photo after me own heart! its so magical and wonderful and light-filled. the eye is constantly trying to solve the questions posed here; i.e. "what is that bubble?" and "where is the bubble?", and so forth. A photo which challenges the mind and eye. |

Bubble Liquidby LizzComment by frisca: this must have been tough to get! I find the sky a bit grainy, and a little too much light from the right, but the colours on the bubbles are great! |

Bubble Liquidby LizzComment by qachyk: ...okay. The exterior IS liquid on a bubble like this, I suppose, looked at a certain way. I'll call it 'on topic, for the most part', even though it's probably a better example of a gaseous subject. Or the principles of physics and surface tension. Or something. Anyhow.
It's a neat idea, and the bubblemass itself is very cool looking with the iridescence, but it's a pity you couldn't do the shot so the bubble was against the sky -- or did it stand out better against the cloud? Something about the clouds and sky look off... a bit of grain is visible, and maybe the light level seems wrong for the angle of the light and the glare. Not sure. |

Bubble Liquidby LizzComment by wewillexplore: WOW. How did you get these bubbles to do this!? Excellent shot, great background, tho I would love to see them in the blue area, too. Wonderful! 9 |
