tree dropsby J-AndyComment by The_Dentist: Seems to be a couple of verses in photographic form... very expressive. Excellent exposure catching great highlights in the drops and good toning as well. One of the very few cases I've seen where this kind of border works well too. Why so small though? Takes so much away from what's otherwise a great photo with a unique look. |

tree dropsby J-AndyComment by talj: I like the sepia tone you have used in this image and actually think the border works ok but I am finding it difficult to find a point of interest here. I think focus on a smaller area of the branches which includes 2 or 3 water drops with a very shallow DOF would make this a lot more interesting.
This is just my humble opinion. |

orange skyby J-AndyComment by trevytrev: nice lightning capture, the picture seems a bit soft though, maybe some sharping could crisp it up a bit. |

orange skyby J-AndyComment by kleski: too orange, looks like the lights are OOF and the saturation removes the clouds from the shot |

drip dropby J-AndyComment by krnodil: I really like what you captured here - so much energy in the water ripples, the swirls of red distributed throughout the composition. What keeps this from getting a higher vote from me though, is it seems too soft focus for the subject, and grainy, like your shutter speed was just a shade too slow. For my taste, these types of liquid shots have more impact when they have a glassy sharpness to them. But I still appreciate your effort to present a composition that isn't your typical water drop shot - 7. |
