An excellant capture with variable shapes, colors and textures which is very pleasing to the eye. The contrasting background compliments the rich purple and delicate nature of the petals. A very good entry into the challenge - not perfect by any means, but purposeful and properly composed. Well done.

I really like this for a lot of different reasons. The composition is bang on with the focus being on the runner's face. You can see the determination to touch home base. You can see the tension in the catcher's body as he starts moving to tag the runner. The chain link fence could be a distraction but it visually frames the scene well while adding a common element of the sport into the shot. The exposure is excellent with no obvious blown highlights or underexposed areas. The only way this could be better is if this was shot at Yankee Stadium during game 7 of the World Series. Wow...

It looks like you shot through chain link, and it vignette's the shot. Great shot, but not very sharp.
