I can see where you were going with this. This certain type of sepia coloring has been done by Jagar is several of his color shots. You did well to match it.

Very nice shot indeed, though I've voted slightly under as I don't think it fits particularly well with the theme - it is fascinating culturally but doesn't show a cultural event. Nevertheless I love shots of people and I thought this photo was really excellent.

Not sure how this is an event, but I'll assume it is. Nice colour tones. The guy in the left in the white shirt drawa my eye away from the subjects. Perhaps waiting a few seconds for him to leave the frame would have really improved this shot. Also, a bit dark on the smaller boys face. Getting them to turn just slightly so the light hit their eyes better would have also help. 5 from me.

I wish the shot were slightly brighter, but, even as it is, I think it's awesome. Nice clarity, great composition, brilliant choice of subject.

*You miss the "10" because of the somewhat low brightness, and because I don't think this really fits the challenge. For the latter reason, I'd give your submission a much lower rating, but I just really like this photograph.
