Don't Jump....by ISivicComment by jonpink: Nice evocative image, and good idea. Style more than innovation, but that's OK in my book :D.
Would like to have seen more depth of scal and height - by adding more objects on the floor would have done this perhaps.?
Presume you didn't jump.

Don't Jump....by ISivicComment by GoldBerry: I know what you were going for, but the composition gives no feeling of height or depth. It's very flat. If it weren't for the title I'd think he was standing directly on the ground. |

Don't Jump....by ISivicComment by Erin_K: I get the feeling this would be more effective if we had a better perspective on how high the ledge is, but it is still a creative idea. :) |

Don't Jump....by ISivicComment by wingy: Those feet are positioned at the point horizontally where they aren't quite centered, but they're so close it almost feels like they were supposed to be centered. It's just a bit of an awkward spot to put your subject in, and without a specific reason for framing it that way, you'd probably be better off making it symetrical or more to one side.
I like the shot on the whole though. Very simple yet engaging and visually interesting. |
