Lean on Meby chelsearocksComment by glad2badad: I'm not a large fan of pets in a portrait challenge, although technically there isn't anything that says you can't. :D This is a happy photo with a cute composition. I wish the whites were stronger to complete the B/W tonal scale. JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge. |

Lean on Meby chelsearocksComment by Puckzzz: I see a lot of curly fur! Oh wait...and two dogfaces...maybe if you used a bigger aperture and focussed on one of the dogs it would've been better, now it's very crowded. |

Barbed Wireby chelsearocksComment by tstout: interesting that you found rebar passing through some barbed wire (or did you do that?). juxtoposed w/ the blue wire fence is even better. what I don't like is the stray strands of weeds and the mottled background - their softness distracts from the strong lines of the wires |

The detail and clarity are good on the gas pump in the foreground, and the background is also interesting. Cropping the side off the gas pump is not what I would have done, but you took a risk and it looks good! |
