you have done well to express the coldness. B&W help intensify the drak skies. Overcast skies also adds to the feeling of coldness.

I love how the use of fore, middle, and background are used in this photo. The stream is in the foreground, the grass/snow? is in the middleground, and the treeline and sky are in the background.

Very interesting perspective on this one. I really like what you did with it but it just doesn't jump out at me. I wish I could say what would make it pop but I just don't know. But I love the idea and the perspective you gave to this one so it is definitely an above average shot.

The flowers in the foreground don't really go with the rest of the shot and, while I like the sunburst, the lens flare is a distraction, especially the rainbow patterns.
