Phalaenopsis orchidby mkramarcComment by Mambe: I love orchids , they are so delicate , they seem so fragile.
As it's an advanced editing challenge , you could have whitened a bit more the background , it's a little greyish and about the composition maybe the same view but not so close , two flowers are "cut". |

autumnby mkramarcComment by atupdate: Back to comment: You found some nice fall colors to shoot; however, the subject matter is not very captivating to look at. The power lines and the dead tree up front distract from the appearance of the colors and are not pleasant to look at. This image also looks a bit out of focus. You may want to sharpen more after down sizing an image for a challenge. Most people use Unsharp Mask to bring back the sharpness lost because of down sizing. |

autumnby mkramarcComment by johnmcboston: nice setup, but nothing is in focus - so my eye doesn't know where to go. Not sure if this is a zoom, shaky camera or just too wide an aperature... |

autumnby mkramarcComment by tschrader: Good color, nice to see it not oversaturated for a change. Maybe cropping picture down to left side could have taken out the distraction of utility poles. Needs to be sharper. |

Bonsai Treeby mkramarcComment by violinist123: Overwhelming amount of white background does nothing to enhance this photo, it just minimizes your subject for no good reason. Subject itself is off kilter. Might also work better cropped much tighter so the tree fills the frame and cropped so that the tree's pot is not visible (or much less prominent). Good luck. |

Bonsai Treeby mkramarcComment by pineapple: Nice idea and, though not an age-old pure bonsai specimen, a good shaped "tree." I think that ou could have positioned the tree out of its underlying tray in a position with a slightly better, more lush and gently lit background. Also remove that out of place grey pebble because, nice as it is and single as it is, it is unnatural for the art of bonsai. My 0.02c which is worth nothing really. ;-) |

Bonsai Treeby mkramarcComment by Alain: Very good idea and concept. You will probably get comments about rotating it a bit to level it. |
