Failure to Conformby

Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club.
First Impression - the most important one:
I am good at multiple choice .. its the one type of test where learning my rote works well.
Composition:
There are so many elements in this picture .. and I think they are all needed .. the broken pencils and the tests and note books .... but they don't help to take it to the next level .... I think that having a search on the rule of thirds may help when setting up this kind of shoot. This is more learning and more rules .. but there are only a few in photography .. and they all help.
Subject:
Meets the challenge, but I am not sure what the title adds to it. I did not feel this was a failure to confirm ... it was a failure to learn by that method ... not many learn by multiple choice. I would think that conforming was another issue ... oh well failure as with success is self determined .. and it is about getting the right message across.... so its just about trying and finding what works for you.
Technical (Colour and light):
I think this works well .. the DOF is good ... not being able to read the papers beyond the f is good .. and lighting seems to work ok.
To grow its vote?:
Think about how others see the shot ... take a look at the rules of photography as these also help.
Summary:
Good work .. a nice improvement on your first entry ... you are going in leaps and bounds.
