Great interaction. Looks like they are bickering over the rump. A bit hot in places on the birds and the grass stalk over Z's nose distracting. Still, an 8 as I understand the difficulties and nuances of true wild photography.

Looks as if they are dancing on his back -- great sense of movement here without the motion blur I might expect. Nice that the birds were against the dark trees -- sets them off so well. Lovely capture.

Thilo, really good result in the years toughest FS.
Whilst I thought this Lion was photographed in the bush, I refrained from expanding my comments more than what you see below as there are so many captive Lion shots online that it is hard to be sure. I did however put my money where my mouth is and gave this an 8. 1 off for the cropped ears and one off for the lack of engagement with the camera. 8 for exposure, colour, tones, great dof and detail on the eyes and what I believed to be a Lion in the African veld.

I noticed you only found useful those comments that expounded beyond "nice shot".

Great details in the fur coat and face of this predator! Love the colors and details. She looks as if she is scanning the horizon for the pride's next dinner.
