I feel your pain. NOt sure if focus is soft or resizing caused the bluriness but might check both.

Hey you only used 17 kb which resulted in a very fuzzy image. You need to figure out how to maximize your file size after you re-size to 640. Its easy if you have Photoshop, but I am sure that you would be able to do it easily with other programs as well.
You will not do well this time because of this. Don't get discouraged.
