Last Rose 2005by pdxgrafixComment by Presidente: critque club--
I like how you happend to have the red not over saturated...that seems to be my problem when i shoot a red rose. the only problem with this shot is too played out if you know what I mean. everyone has a shot of roses, in order to compete in contests like these you must stand out. although the main subject (the rose) is very nicely exposed and the shadows are soft, the light emitted from the trees causes a slight distraction thats not necessary. this picture needs alot more "bam" as emeril would say ;) |

Fallen Energyby pdxgrafixComment by aledfc: Wow it's beautiful! You are a great photographer. I love your idea. Everything is perfect. It's clear, it's beautiful, it's awesome! One thing, the greenish-blue specs on the leaf are a little distracting. Everything else is perfect. Keep up the good work! |

Last Rose 2005by pdxgrafixComment by KiwiShotz: Terific bloom, if you wonder why it doesn't seem to have a zing to it, try moving the light a little sideways to bring out some highlights and texture |
