Hawthornby stupotComment by GrayGhost: Interesting tree, with growth shaped by prevailing winds, I assume. A touch more contrast/saturation might help. |

Hawthornby stupotComment by Melethia: Definitely one of those trees that shows the prevailing direction of the wind. Picture itself is a bit on the "washed out" side, though quite often the actual day looks pretty washed out too. |

Hawthornby stupotComment by morg002: Nice idea. I think it could be much better at another time of day. The sky is overexposed and somewhat distracting because it's so bright. |

Hawthornby stupotComment by rwo82939: Image appears to be a result of long exposure of the tree to the effects of wind but the grass in the forground is straight and unaffected. I don't feel action. |

Hawthornby stupotComment by pineapple: Reminds me of the Sussex Downs and along the River Arun. Probably quite wrong. But the tree bespeaks a prevailing easterly wind. It's a grand location for photography. |

Hawthornby stupotComment by sfalice: Very pretty and certainly shows the action of the wind in forming the tree. If it was mine (and I know it isn't) I'd probably have cropped down a touch on the left side to concentrate on the tree... |
