stylistically, i really do like this; as a thumbnail amongst all the others it really grabbed my attention. seeing that the actual image isn't that much bigger than the thumbnail was, must confess, a bit disappointing. it's also not big enough to determine whether or not the focus is actually soft. i think there's a tutorial for resizing; it's worth having a quick read. like i said though, conceptually, i love it. the B&W works well with the static type effect. lighting seems pretty well done. i also love the detail of the symmetry, in that at 4.55 it would be almost the same photo upside down. great thoughtful stuff - 8.

I love the "scratched" effect you've achieved here. Your title is perfect. Not sure how well it meets the challenge but am sure I like the photo. Better bigger posibly.
