Back in the Daysby AJFIComment by Yo_Spiff: Sweet car. I'm afraid the location in partial shadow and sun hurts it a toad. Possible that some additional adjustments could help the car stand out from the shadows a bit.
Your 95K file size also suggests you may have been able to get a little more clarity by using less compression. (I'm a little anal about compression) |

Back in the Daysby AJFIComment by Ja-9: you have a pretty good shot here...just a couple of things..the wheel in the front right could have been "stepped out" with a little movement to the left and that movement would have helped with the barn in the background...otherwise an excellent shot...well done |

Back in the Daysby AJFIComment by BrennanOB: Lovely car, in tough light. The biggest issue I have with this image is that it shows off the car, but ends up looking like a shot from a want ad. The barn in the background is only half there, so it is more distraction than mood setting. Same with the big wheel (antique bicycle? carriage wheel?) on the left. Had you backed up the car a few steps to get the whole thing in the tree shadow, shifted your POV up to show off the setting, or down to created more dramatic line in the car and cut out the background, this would have been a stronger shot. All the components are here, but they just don't come together as a whole. |

leading one's eyesby AJFIComment by amber: I'm surprised so many commentated that the lines don't lead anywhere...Your eye is led in by the bottom left lines;is then led to and drawn up the lines to the top of the image;then down to the lines that end at top third; then down to the bottom centre. I thought it led your eye exceptionally well. Message edited by author 2005-07-04 03:37:50. |

leading one's eyesby AJFIComment by Zoomdak: I don't know what was at the end of this tunnel, but I think if this image had been taken a few steps to the right, this image would be improved. Then the eye could follow the tunnel down to it's end, and be drawn into it. Stil interesting though. |
